Fintan spoke about the current crisis regarding student accommodation in light of the impending start of the new education term.  "“There are 1800 children returning to school that are homeless in September now and that's fundamentally wrong in society to be allowing that to happen".  Elaborating on the issue, "It beggars belief that landlords are prevented from letting out budget accommodation and forced to leave comfortable units idle .there is absolutely no logic in this policy"
